Before you start: The Rectxt chrome extension is required for you to be able to send messages. If you don't have it already then you can get it here.

Recruiters can text new candidates from any screen where you see a 'Text' button . Alternatively, you can also click on the blue Rectxt widget on the right-hand border to start a conversation (either will work)

Recruiters can send group text messages (we call them Mass Messages) to multiple candidates at once directly from a page where you see a list of candidates. These messages convert to 1:1 messages when the candidate responds so they won't know they're part of a group message.

Where ever you see a list of candidates in Ashby, you can text them. Here's how:

Dashboard view:

Click the 'Select' button and then choose which candidates you want in your recipient list. Once you've done that click the 'Text' button that appears.

List view:

Tick the box next to each candidate that you want to include in your recipient list. Once you'd done that click the 'Text' button that appears.

The maximum amount of candidates that you can send in a Mass Message is 50. The more candidates you add to the Mass Message, the longer it will take for it to finish sending the text messages to everyone.
